Introduction:

Hi, my name is Anupam but most of my patients call me Anu. I graduated at Bart’s and the London Dental School in 2007 and completed my foundation training in Hampshire. Subsequently I moved up North to gain further surgical experience as a Maxillo-facial SHO doctor at North Manchester General Hospital.

For the last 14 years I have built up a broad range of experience in general dental practice. My special interest lies with restoring teeth with minimally invasive treatments which both preserve existing tooth structure and improve their appearance. I have a Post graduate diploma in dental implants passed with distinction and a Master of Science degree in cosmetic and restorative dentistry passed with merit.

I am happy to provide my patients with:

– Dental Implants to replace missing teeth

– Invisalign GO! Teeth straightening system

– Cosmetic tooth whitening (approximately 100 cases completed)

– Routine to advanced dental restorative care including white fillings

– Aesthetically designed crowns and bridges and veneers

– Chrome or Acrylic dentures

– Routine to advanced Extractions

– Routine Root canal treatment

In addition to the above, I am currently an Educational Supervisor selected to oversee the teaching and training of newly qualified dentists by the North-West Deanery. I have formalized my teaching experience by obtaining a Post graduate certificate in Teaching and Learning which I passed with Merit.

To further improve smile aesthetics, I have completed a course using the Invisalign Go! Clear Aligner System. This utilizes nearly see-through aligner trays worn during the day and night to straighten mildly crooked front teeth quickly and predictably without the need for metal wires and brackets.

In 2017 I spent time working with the charity Dent Aid providing emergency services to vulnerable patients from a mobile clinic in Blackpool which proved to be a very rewarding experience I plan to be part of again in the future.

I have developed a special interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry and enjoy improving patients’ smiles whilst helping them to achieve excellent oral health.
